My Journey
I had the privilege of growing up in a defense environment, which taught me the values of adaptability, respect, integrity, and selflessness. I studied all across India, discovered my passion for design, and faced challenges along the way.
It took a few tries to crack it, but once I did, the learning and unlearning were invaluable. My undergraduate studies in Chennai and a Master's at NID, Ahmedabad helped me build skills beyond my imagination.
I began in Communication Design, transitioned to Design Research, and now find myself wearing multiple hats—part Lead, part Ops. I've learned that the only way to grow is to continuously learn and do.

Why "Heart and a Crayon"?

As a child (and still today), I was often teased for taking someone else's side. Whether my mom had a disagreement with the vegetable vendor or someone else needed a voice, I would often find myself defending the "other side." It took me a while to realize that this was empathy. That's why "Heart!"
And then, there’s the "Crayon." Growing up, I was notorious for having a perpetual frown on my face—so much so that one of my nicknames was "Frowning Glory." The only thing that ever truly brought a smile to my face was a box of crayons! Color always had the magic to brighten my day. These two qualities—empathy and creativity—are what truly define me.

Where I Am Now & What I’m Looking For?
As a Design Lead at Fractal Analytics, I weave design and design thinking into everything we do. I believe that experiences are our greatest teachers and that they can be improved by understanding and addressing latent needs. My current dream job? To lead Design Ops in a formal setup someday.
If you’re up for a chat or want to know more, feel free to reach out!

A Bit More About Me
In my free time, I make endless to-do lists, dance to music of the 90s and 00's, play with my adorable (and still not annoying) baby, spend time nurturing my plants, experiment with home decor, bake delicious desserts, and daydream about the "What Ifs" of life
